Diabetic Retinopathy Treatment Care

not diagnosed with diabetes just curious

My boyfriend has type 2 diabetes and takes metformin. He has tingling and numbness of the pinky and ring fingers on his left hand. He goes to the doc on monday. It has been going on for about a week off and on, but it had gotten worst today. Is there something he can do to stop it, or make it not as bad?

My moms friend went to the hospital after they found out she had diabetes.
Do you always have to do that?

I have a sister that has diabetes, im really hoping that scientists will find a cure very soon.

Two years ago, before I was diagnosed with type one, I was diagnosed with proteinuria. Last December, I was diagnosed with Type one diabetes. I haven’t seen my kidney specialist since. But should I make an appointment? Is it possible that things are different now that I have diabetes?
