I have called several insurance companies and cannot obtain coverage because of existing diabetes condition. Similar to “assigned risk” for an auto driver, is there such full, major coverage available? How do I go about finding the coverage? I have recently retired and my Cobra will expire soon. Is there any extension of Cobra available in California?

I am trying to save on a trip to the doctor. Is there a way to recieve
meds for type 2 diabetes. And is there some kind of vitamins that
produce the same result? I’ve been taking fish oil daily.

If person has no health coverage and can’t afford the fee for a doctors appointment, how are they supposed to get tested for diabetes? They are showing all of the signs and symptoms, but with health care being unaffordable where do they go?

I have a case of Type II Diabetes and I have found that qualification for life insurance requires a blood test. Based on blood testing, companies will charge much more if a person has Type II Diabetes. I was wondering if there is some way to fool the company to make them believe that I am normal. Perhaps I could work out just before the test?
