Im 30 weeks on complete bedrest and just found out I have diabetes. I just saw a nutritionist and im doing the diet, portion control but my sugar is still pretty high. Im scared something might happen to the baby. Ive heard its common, but if anyone has gone through this let me know [...]

I am a weak woman. It is so easy to eat what is convenient. It is easy to eat snacks provided by my employer instead of preparing a meal when deadlines are bearing down on me.
I know the risks of unhealthy eating. My aunt died from complications relating to out of control diabetes.

I am 56 years old, currently on medication for hypertension and diabetes. Still working, but work is rather stressful and thought of resigning. Any advice?
