My partner has just been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. How can I find what sort of sugar contents I should be looking at in foods and some guidelines to follow when shopping.
I don’t have insurance to go to a doctor but I am wondering if I have diabetes. I have to urinate a lot, I get light headed and shaky if I don’t constantly have sugar, my urine has a sweet odor, I get thirsty a lot. How do I self treat?
I am doing a research paper on finding out the causes and possible solutions to the problem diabetes in immigrant Latinos but I only found two sites including the Kaiser site that have any relevent information. I need anything that has solid statistics and objective viewpoints(or at least close to it) on the subject. Thanks!
