I’m 19, I’m worried I may have diabetes and I don’t have health coverage/insurance so I can’t go see a doctor. Is there a cheap way to check if you have it without having to go see a doctor?

I wanted to know how a doctor tests a person to find out id they have diabetes? Do they just prick your finger, or is it a blood test where they have to draw blood with a needle of what?

Like if i never knew or thought i had it when would they do a test to see if i had diabetes? Or would they never know and would i have to ask them to test me for diabetes?
