Question by coffiegrl: Is it common for dogs to have diabetes?
I just found out that my dog has developed diabetes, nd she is only 7 years old. She also developed cateracts as a side effect, and i now have to give her 2 shots of of insulin a day, along with a change in her diet. This isn’t a big deal, i just haven’t heard of this being all that common.

Then what’s the point of getting a urine test?
