The tape i am transcribing has a women with a thick accent & a lisp. I believe she is saying “micron diabetic retinopathy” but I cant tell for sure. Could be micron, bikeron, vicron or what else I don’t know. I have tried using every search engine I can think of to no avail. Any ideas?

Could she be talking about a vitrectomy? It is when the Dr. repairs the eye by removing the vitrous gel that is what is causing vision problems in the patient with diabetic retinopathy.
