Question by Kenn G: Can bionic eyes give sight to those with diabetic retinopathy?
i have read an article and i was shocked to know that the newly invented bionic eyes can possibly give a chance of sight to the blind ones. i don’t really know if this can help in my condition, i am a person suffering from gradually deteriorating vision because of diabetic retinopathy. in the articles i’ve read only those people with retinal pigmentation [retinis pigmentosa] and macular degeneration are those who have the greatest possibilities of regaining sight. I am hopeful that someday, if ever patients suffering from my same condition or even worse may be treated with this bionic eyes.
