Question by ilangelbaby: has anyone had any luck w/injections for Diabetic retinopathy ?
Hi My mom has Diabetic retinopathy to my understanding its in advace stages its making her partially blind we’re are tryin to make it so her vision is better went to the eye dr she had laser surgery on both eyes but it didnt help dr said behind her eyes the blood didnt dry up and its still real swelled he suggested injections in the whites of her eyes she had one injection done 4 more times to go has anyone ever had this done? did it help your vision? I know her vision will never be perfect again but we want her to be able to see better then she does now and dont want her going blind …if anyone has any feedback on these injections can you please let me know thanks for taking the time reading my question

These injections are steroids. It is usually effective, but not always. Good luck.
