Should I be concered about a giant floater on my eye after laser for Diabetic retinopathy?

Question by ihavipgtech: Should I be concered about a giant floater on my eye after laser for Diabetic retinopathy?
I want some advice/second opinion if you will about this. I walked for about 10 minutes this morning from the bus to work and as soon as I sat down I had a giant floater in my right eye. From 30 cm away it’s footprint would cover 40cm high and ten cm wide. It is not complete darknes or anything but just like tens of flaoter in a clump. I contacted my Opthamologist and he said wait till I see hime next in six day and take it easy and don’t lift heavy objects. My concern is I could do damage by doing normal activity or is it going get worse – he calls it a bleed by that is plain disconcerting to me. Your comments welcomed.

As a general rule you should always be concerned about floaters, however if your ophthalmologist is happy then he is right. They do not get things like that wrong,
