I asked if I had diabetes yesterday on answers and u guys said yes. But I’m not sure how to tell my parents because I don’t think they will take my seriously until I actually am admitted to the hospital…. And also I had my blood drawn to see if I had chicken pox antibodies but my doctor didn’t say anything about diabetes… Sorry aboutthr typos…

well you cant be sure unless a doctor tells you. y are you afraid this is your life at stake. tell them your suspions and go to urgent care and have them draw blood. also because your doctor didnt say anytinhg about the disease is because he/she didnt check for that
Check for the signs of diabetes. if they are present then without wasting a single minute have your blood sugar level checked.
convince your parents on the basis of signs of diabetes if any are there. i’m sure they will not put a deaf ear.
if still they don’t agree; still then you have to have yourself checked by the doctor. after all this is for the sake of your health
If your parents don’t believe you. I suggest you make a doctors appointment and go alone. Sounds like you are old enough. I am sure a doctor will take you seriously.
And besides it is not just your health but your life at risk too.
Good Luck.
Also if the tests say you are not Diabetic it wont hurt you to make changes to your lifestyle, like diet and exercise, to help prevent or delay the onset of Diabetes or another disease.
This is something you have to bite the bullet and just tell them. The doctor might not have checked for diabetes with the last blood drawn. Why don’t you just call him up and ask to speak to him or the nurse and see if they did a check already for diabetes.
Have the doctor’s office call your parents to tell them if you have to.
You need to tell your parents. Diabetes is very serious, and if you think you have it you need to get tested right away to get your blood suger, and glucose under control
