How Much Will It Cost To Treat My Dog For Diabetes?

I believe that my dog has diabetes. She is a Rhodesian Ridgeback and weighs about 120 pounds. Can anyone give me an estimate on insulin costs and syringes? I plan to take her to the vet either way, I just wanted to be prepared. Thank you.
My friend has a diabetic cat, and she gets her insulin at Wal-Mart (Reli-On brand of Regular insulin). I think it’s only about $16 a vial. The syringes are pretty cheap, maybe 50 cents apiece, and you can reuse them a dozen or so times before they start to get dull. As long as you only use them on the dog, no sterilizing needed between uses.
